Psychological Assessment
My name is Noah Kim. I have been residing in Australia since 2001, facing numerous trials and tribulations as a person of South Korean background striving to establish myself in this new environment. Today, I am a father blessed with a beautiful wife and family. I recognise that life often deviates from our plans, a reality we all experience. The uncertainty of the future can evoke unwanted thoughts and feelings like anxiety. However, through reflection on our trials and tribulations, we find opportunities for growth and discover new meanings in life.
I believe in the capacity for human growth and reject the notion of fixed limitations on our traits and abilities. My therapeutic approach is rooted in humanistic and strengths-based principles, acknowledging that everyone possesses unique strengths and innate capabilities to overcome life's challenges. I integrate evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Trauma Informed Mindfulness Therapy, and Schema Therapy. These approaches equip you with strategies to navigate your struggles and evolve into a better version of yourself each day.
